This intimate, meditative museum in Long Island City was conceived and built by Isamu Noguchi himself. Here, his mostly abstract sculptures are displayed across two levels of exhibition space and throughout a quiet, ivy-covered walled garden.
Using a system-oriented approach; and guided by the words of the artist; experiential designer Austin Hines and I are investigating how the Noguchi Museum’s brand identity can be elevated to better communicate their ideals and contents.
